We are all in this together

…for now. I’ll be back next week. Heading to Venice tomorrow for four nights.

I’m sad to leave Florence. I feel like I know my way around and have a good connection with Carmel and Pino. She said we’ll get together when I come back next week even though I’m staying at another Albergo.

Today I had lunch at the Mercato Centrale. I had Ribolitta…kind of a bread soup with lots of veggies in it.

Went back to same place as yesterday for dinner for spaghetti bolognese. It was so delicious and you can’t beat the price…8 euros for the dish and 4 euros for the house wine.

Seriously, wine is so cheap here!🍷

I have to get up early to catch my bus to Venice where I’m meeting my friend Dan (he used to be my boss in Seattle and I haven’t seen him since the late 90’s. Great guy…even more of an Italophile than I!)
